To drive the suburb is only five minutes away from both Cleveland and Capalaba and approximately 40 minutes away from the city.

Schools

Redlands College and Wellington Point State High School are located in Wellington Point are both the ‘Top-Performing’ Schools in Queensland. More than 85% of students from Redlands College have an OP above 15 and Wellington Point State High School has been confirmed by QTAC as one of the top academic schools in the state system of education. Lifestyle

The attractive Wellington Point Reserve is a fantastic venue to watch the lights rise over Brisbane as daylight fades, to picnic, enjoy the sun or just relax with a good book in the shade of the huge Moreton Bay figs. A trip to “Wello” is not complete without a walk at low tide across the sand bar to King Island, where beds of exposed seagrass come alive with crabs and remnants of the marine environment.

This beautiful bayside village boasts a vibrant town centre and there are regular festivals and twilight markets to enjoy and explore. Indeed, the dining precinct has many cafes and restaurants to satisfy all tastes.
